The Whiskey Thief
J.J. Corry ‘The Whiskey Thief’ is our celebratory release for International Women's Day 2020.
This limited bottling is a collaboration with Irish creative duo Jill & Gill, who designed a bespoke label for the expression.
All proceeds from the sale of this release will go to Dress for Success Dublin, who do tremendous work in empowering women in need to access the workplace and as advocates for gender equality. As an all female founded and led company ourselves, this is an organisation which is close to our heart.
The release is part of a wider campaign celebrating the women breaking boundaries in the drinks industry and beyond. This is our salute to these women as well as a nod to change.
The Whiskey Thief is a blend of Irish Grain Whiskey from multiple distilleries and is the first of its style for J.J. Corry. Creating a blended grain expression is emphatic for us as Bonders as our craft centres on our acquiring whiskey from multiple sources. As Bonders, we are curators of casks, building a library of Irish Whiskey flavours which allow us to produce unique blends like this one.
Just 100 hand numbered bottles of The Whiskey Thief have been made and they will be exclusively available from www.celticwhiskeyauction.com from 5pm Sunday 16th March 2020 until 8pm Monday 30th.
